John 1:14-18 (NRSV)
We have seen the glory of God
And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth. (John testified to him and cried out, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me ranks ahead of me because he was before me.'") From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known.

Reflection
Shout it out! We have seen him! He is risen! Risen indeed! Shout it out! We have seen him in his fullness. And we have received grace upon grace. This is the One the law was all about. Here is the One who is God's only Son.
Shout it out! The message is still applicable today. Shout it out and live it out in love to those God gives to you this day. Don't pass by those in need. Shout it out and help! Feed the hungry, care for the sick, work for justice in this world. Shout it out and live out the love and grace you have been shown and given.
Shout it out in word and deed! For the Spirit has given you gifts of time and talent and love and compassion and a heart to shout it out in word and deed. What a wonderful message! What a wonderful gift! Shout it out!
Thanks be to God!
Prayer
This day Lord, I will shout out in your name. This day Lord, I will act out in your love. This day Lord, I will work by your side in your Kingdom...this day! --- Amen
