Psalm 93
The Majesty of God’s Rule

The Lord is king, he is robed in majesty;
   the Lord is robed, he is girded with strength.
He has established the world; it shall never be moved;
   your throne is established from of old;
   you are from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
   the floods have lifted up their voice;
   the floods lift up their roaring.
More majestic than the thunders of mighty waters,
   more majestic than the waves of the sea,
   majestic on high is the Lord!

Your decrees are very sure;
   holiness befits your house,
   O Lord, for evermore.

God rules over all the earth!
Over sea and sky and plane and mountain.
God is majestic and wonderful in all his works!

You, O Lord, give breath to the newborn.
You, O Lord, heal and make new.
You, O Lord, lay abundance before us.

How I believe in your creation.
You created all that exists.
You set me in your creation in love.

God rules over all the earth!
Creation relies upon all you have done.
Hear the created joyfully proclaim you majesty!

Prayer
Lord, you are King of the Universe and King of my heart. Rule in me today... tomorrow... and forever. --- Amen
