April 28th - Reflection

Psalm 100 (NRSV)
We are God's sheep

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come into his presence with singing.

Know that the Lord is God.
It is he that made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him, bless his name.
For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

Reflection
What joy we have knowing the Jesus is our shepherd and he has claimed us as his sheep. Jesus goes to all extremes to keep us in his care. So when we wander off and are either chased back or brought back to the fold by Jesus; we can enter the gates with thanksgiving and praise, for we have been richly blessed.

Each morning Jesus comes into your life and invites you to walk in his kingdom in his glory to love those he sends your way...what a joy and privilege this is! Thanks be to God!

Prayer
I'm coming Lord, joyful and singing in your presence this day. --- Amen
