Psalm 119:129-136
Your decrees are wonderful;
therefore my soul keeps them.
The unfolding of your words gives light;
it imparts understanding to the simple.
With open mouth I pant,
because I long for your commandments.
Turn to me and be gracious to me,
as is your custom towards those who love your name.
Keep my steps steady according to your promise,
and never let iniquity have dominion over me.
Redeem me from human oppression,
that I may keep your precepts.
Make your face shine upon your servant,
and teach me your statutes.
My eyes shed streams of tears
because your law is not kept.

Blessings you pour out from day to day, O Lord.
Response is my thankfulness for all you do.
You are my Light!
Blessings you give even when I don't deserve it.
Response is my human act of love for you alone.
You are my Light!
Blessings you provide when I stand in need of forgiveness.
Response is my turning towards your shining face in repentance.
You are my Light!
Blessings you shower upon the good and the evil.
Response is the love I show to those you give to me.
You are my Light!
Blessings you anoint my head with in the sign of the cross.
Response is my fervent panting and listening to your Word.
You are my Light!
Blessings you give freely in the body and the blood.
Response is my taking of the bread and the wine with a humble heart.
You are my Light!
Blessings you shout out through the sight and sound and smell of your creation.
Response is my love for all your handiwork.
You are my Light!
Blessings you pour out from day to day, O Lord.
Response is my life dedicated to following your will and your way.

Prayer
Lord thank you for blessing my life with your presence and saving me from death. Yes, you, Lord are my Light! Hear and see and feel the hug of my response with a thankful heart and life... today... tomorrow... and forever. --- Amen
