March 30th People Reflection

Thursday 3/30/3006

Matthew 24.1-31-Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved.

Numbers 25-27-Moses followed GOD’s orders.

Song of Solomon 6.4-8.4-don’t stir it up, until the time is ripe—and you’re ready

2 Esdras 7.45-74-who among the living is there that has not sinned, or who is there among morals that has not transgressed your covenant?

Psalm 119.9-16-I worship you with all of my heart.

2 Timothy 4.6-18-don’t stop preaching and teaching.

Psalm 127-God takes care of his own, even while they sleep.

"That truck was a piece of junk."- A friend at work- telling of a deal that he made knowing that his truck had many problems but not telling the buyer. It doesn’t seem right. Didn’t seem honest at all to me. Getting more money than what was deserved. But life is like that. There are times things just aren’t what they seem to be. And I’m going to be involved somehow. But even in those times, I must keep my focus on God. Stay with it until the end. Seek and follow God’s orders- wait for God’s time and not force it into my own time. Trust in God to help me in times of trouble and worship God alone with all of my heart. And keep at it- keep listening- keep teaching, keep preaching and keep reaching in love to the world. Knowing all along that God will take care of me – even as I sleep. "That truck was a piece of junk." – Maybe so—but I’m gonna trust in God to help me through all my deals.

Prayer-Lord lead me away from the shady deals in life this day. -- Amen
