Readings of the Day
John 7.25-52-Never has anyone spoken like this!
1 Chronicles 29-For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. For we are aliens and transients before you...
Zechariah 13-They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, "They are my people"; and they will say, "The LORD is our God."
Ephesians 5.1-6-Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

God's Word of the Day
Listen to Him. The Word is before you and with you and in you. Be an imitator in love.

Story of the Day
We moved about all summer that year. Moving from campground to campground. We really didn't have a destination in mind. We just moved about and met new people everywhere we went. Move into the campsite and find new friends. As we did this we began to realize that in the friendships and in the lives of those we met there were connections being made. Connections of people to lives. Lives lived, some with a clear purpose and others without. We helped one another as we spoke about relationships, issues, problems and joys. Inside and within all this there was a link to something greater than ourselves. You could sense God connecting us together. Bringing us together to hear His Word in and through one another. Never has anyone spoken like this before, or so we thought. Then I began to notice the presence of Jesus in the people. I began to notice the Love. I began to notice and began to show this same Love also. It was all about the relationships with each other that summer. But more so it was about the common connection we all had tied together in the Love of Christ, in and through and with each other. We moved about all summer that year. We discovered Christ had come to us and was real and within us.

Prayer of the Day
Lord, I give You thanks for Your presence, here and now and in this Kingdom. Your Kingdom has come to us. Your Kingdom of here and now. Your Kingdom of Love. You are my God and that fragrant Sacrifice. You are King. ---Amen
