Luke 24.1-12-He walked away puzzled, shaking his head.
Genesis 43-They looked at one another wide-eyed, wondering what would happen next.
Psalm 34-Disciples so often get into trouble; still. GOD is there every time.
1 Esdras 3.1-17a-Explain to us what you have written.
Isaiah 40.21-31-But those who trust the LORD will find new strength.
Luke 17.20-25-God’s kingdom is here with you.
Psalm 46-The LORD, All-Powerful is with us.
"Normally that should reset the scale." – A problem with some electronic dip-switches not doing what the manufacturer states they should do. It’s funny thinking of the Luke passage- because we walked away puzzled, shaking our heads. But this was a disciple- trying to understand the resurrection. Puzzled and shaking his head. What happened? Well – Jesus did what he had already told them he was going to do and it still was unbelievable- puzzling- one of those head shakers. God is always surprising to my simple way of thinking. What’s next? – Joseph’s brothers were wondering –What’s next? – Sometimes things don’t make sense at the time- but God makes sense of it all in his own time- not my time. God explains everything that is written in the Word- but I don’t get it—never will get it all- but God will grant me understanding when I need it- as I need it- God will grant me the strength I need to serve him in his kingdom here and now – God is with me in his kingdom. "Normally that should reset the scale."—Well maybe I don’t know all I think I know- but I’m sure I know all God wants me to know – when he wants me to know it.
Prayer-Lord, grant me the wisdom and understanding I need for this day according to your will- not mine -- Amen
