1 Esdras 4.13-41-If men gather gold and silver or any other beautiful thing, and then see a woman lovely in appearance and beauty, they let all those things go. And gape at her, and with open mouths stare at her. And all prefer her to gold or silver or any other beautiful thing….Many men have lost their minds because of women…Therefore you must realize that women rule over you!

"We don’t have record of your fax."—You fax a paper and it becomes electronic code sent through wires-even through air sometimes. Does it get there? –Maybe you even have confirmation that it did- did it really? The only way to find out is to talk to another human. I think understanding God is a little like all that. There is what you see- then there is what you don’t see- you have some faith in what you see- but you need a whole bunch more faith in what you don’t see- Just like when Jacob was giving out blessings- what you don’t see is that the scepter shall not leave Judah – Jesus would descend from that tribe. The scepter of the real King would never leave that tribe- I think that may be one of those things that at that time was unseen—but today—we see- a woman – a creation of God- I can see- it’s funny! – I’ll lose my mind because of women—I know –that’s not fair- but it may be right- something I can see- women rule over me- that’s still funny though- then I beg God to hear me- something I can’t hear- but I ask the fax to get through to God- for God to hear my plea- something I can’t see is how God cared for me before I was even born- how can I see that- God is way beyond what I can even begin to understand- but he protects me and cares for me all along- I love God! – "We don’t have record of your fax."—That’s the human side of it all- but God doesn’t lose a one of my faxes- seen or unseen.

Prayer-Lord, help me to trust and believe in you- seen or unseen. -- Amen
