Maintain good vision.
Readings of the Day
Mark 10.1-31-Jesus looks at me and loves me.
2 Samuel 23-God used and loved David all his life.
Hosea 3-God loves the sinner to death.
Matthew 10.40-42-Welcome one another and welcome the Lord.
God's Word of the Day
See My Vision of Love. See the sacrifice I have made in that vision. Know that Love.
Story of the Day
For some reason I was able to see through space and time. It was as if my mind had an eye of it's own. I looked out the window and into the sky and through the clouds I could see a living room. I could see a family gathered together. They were mourning the death of the father. Some were crying and some were doing that crying laughing thing. They were remembering times past. I could see the presence of the father in the family. I could see the love that father had freely given to his family. The family had finally begun to realize all that their father had given up for his love for his family. The daughters and the sons began to realize the time and energy their father had graciously given to them. Memories flowed now in the father's death. Memories came back to all the children and especially the wife. Memories of love and life given freely to a family.
Then I saw through the heavens and I saw a father. A father victorious in Life. A father who had placed all his hope and trust in his Father. His Father who had given the life of His Son. All with a vision of love in mind. A common vision of love for the earthly father for his family and a heavenly Father for His Children. And that's when it happened!
My line of vision into the sky returned. Then I could see both the heavenly vision and the earthly vision combine into one. Then I saw the face of Jesus. In one place, both heaven and earth, I saw the Love of Jesus and I saw both father's together in love.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, You sent Your Son Jesus to teach us love. You sent Your Son Jesus to show us love. Help all of us know how to love You and to love one another in that vision of Love only You can give. For now I know that You love the sinner. You have a vision of that sinner somehow in You and doing Your will. Forgive us and lead us and teach us and help us learn that vision of love. Guide us in active love now and into eternity in the combination of worlds. ---Amen

Prepare to take the lead now and then.

2 Samuel 22-David praises God for His presence in his life.
Hosea 2.2-23-You can't hide sin from God.
Psalm 89.1-4, 15-18-Walk in the Light of God's face.
God's Word of the Day
I know of Your sin and will take care of that. Repent and turn to me so that I can have you lead in My way, not your way.
Story of the Day
I was late for work and in a hurry. All of the parking spaces were taken in the company lot. I drove a few blocks away to an apartment complex. They had a closed parking lot that was used for the tenants and for paid parking. I spotted an open spot and took it. The attendant that normally charged for available public spots was not on duty so I hurriedly rushed down the street to work.
After work as I approached the lot, I noticed an old junk car had purposely blocked me in. Blocked my car to the point that I was sure that the old junk car had caused my car some damage. I was furious! But I was fairly certain that I had taken the only spot of an apartment tenant. I went up to the car. Luckily there was no damage to my car. Oh, there was a small scratch, but I really couldn't tell if it was caused by this junk car or was already present. Inside the car was a scruffy old dog. At least the windows were open. I looked over at the parking lot attendant's booth and noticed that no one was present. So I shifted the car into neutral and pushed it way out of the way. I was so mad that I pushed it through the lot and into the grass in front of the apartment complex. The car began to roll away, so I shifted it into park. I really could have cared less if this guys car rolled off a cliff or not, but I couldn't be mean to the dog. I hurried to my car and left before anyone could see me.
Driving away the guilt of what I had done hit me. Then I thought about why the car was there in the first place. Maybe the attendant had it placed there to block me. Surely someone had taken my license number and run it to see who the owner was. I had this feeling that I would be caught in what I had done. After all, I had parked in the lot illegally. I never paid for the parking. I didn't even apologize for my actions with the attendant or the renter. I knew that I had done something wrong, but I figured that maybe, just maybe, I would get away with it. So I decided to let it all ride.
Through the weeks ahead, I made sure that I never came near that lot. I never knew what the outcome of moving that car did to the owner. I never found out if my license had been run. I bore the guilt of my sin in personal silence. I got away with it. Or so I thought!
Prayer of the Day
Lord, I know of my sin, and You know of my sin. Help me to have enough faith to stand up and seek the forgiveness I need from those I hurt. Lead me to repent and turn back to You. I know how You are waiting. You have served those just like me. You save the sinner and make them whole. You teach and gift the outcast and make them the leaders. You take the worn out and the tossed aside and use them to advance Your Kingdom. Well, I know that I'm one of them. And I know that I need You. I want You to save me from my sinful self and use me in Your Kingdom to Your glory. I want to walk in the Light of Your glorious face. Lead me to lead others as You desire not as I want.---Amen

Hosea 1.1-2.1-God wants me to be faithful to Him.

God's Word of the Day
Don't be confused in your sin. Turn to Me, give Me your life, for I forgive and restore and make new.
Story of the Day
The waves were consistent. They washed up onto the shore. The sand moved in and out. The waves so constant that it seemed punishing to anything that lay on the beach. But really the waves moving and the sanding flowing in and out were polishing to perfection the shell that lay on the beach.
The warrior had become old and was a risk in the battle. The waves of his work had polished him to perfection, but the constancy of war had worn him down. But, oh what value he brought to the young troops in his old age. He was the one they would come to for strategy in the battle. The old warrior taught and supported the young men. He gave them all he had. He gave them the experience of his life. He gave them the results of the waves of his life of work. The spirit of all the work of his life blew through him to the young troops. He gave his life to them.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, as the waves of life wear me down. Help me to realize that I must focus on You and not on myself. Give me the vision to see what You are doing in me. Lead me to give my life away to gain Life in You. When I think the waves are wearing me down, help me to see that You are polishing me up for service in Your Kingdom. Show me the forgiveness I need for those sins I openly confess and those sins that I'm not aware of. Make me Yours, that I may give my life to those You lead me to give it up to. Let Your Spirit blow through me in rhythm with You will and Your way that others may see You in me. ---Amen

Gather together in a feast of fellowship.
Readings of the Day
Mark 8.1-21-Jesus gathers the people together and feeds them and there is plenty left over.
2 Samuel 19-David goes back to rule Israel once again as king.
Daniel 12-Happy are those who persevere.
Galatians 5.2-6-The only thing that counts is faith working through love.
God's Word of the Day
When you gather together in fellowship let My Love work through you in faith and plenty will be left over for the rest of My Kingdom.
Story of the Day
It started as a spark. One small spark grew into one flame. Then the flame began to suck in the surrounding air and become a fire. Then the fire grew, and more of the surrounding air was brought into use and combined with some fuel and the fire grew. It was a destructive yet beautiful sight. The forest was disappearing to the flames of fire. Fire that had gathered together and fed with the breath of oxygen, consumed the trees and plants until all was left in ashes. A battle had been won. A battle had been lost. Fire fed by such little to begin with, was fed more than enough for the multitude to come. Then new life began. After the fire there was new life. A freshness invaded the land. The fire was a good thing after all. The new life replaced the old life. What fed the fire became a new breeze over new life. What fed the fire, that breath of life, was plenty for the fire and more than enough for the new life to come.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, feed me the spark, feed me the breath that I need to flame into action all You have taught, all You have blessed me with and all You have been to me. Let this small amount build a fire within me of action and love based on faith that I may go forth into Your Kingdom to serve and love. Let one battle against sin lead to a new battle of faith, hope and love in You. Let the leftovers which You provide feed the world and let that fire burn brightly in me to bring that freshness only You can provide to this world. Breathe Your Breath of Life into all I do this day to bring forth new life in me and those You give to me. ---Amen

Daniel 11.21-45-God is present in history.

God's Word of the Day
I came to heal and forgive and be with My people. I have equipped you to do the same. Now go!
Story of the Day
The woman in the nursing home was on in years. Her mind just didn't function like it used to. She certainly wasn't as sharp as she had been only months ago. For that matter all of her physical functions had slowed and deteriorated. But on the sight of a child the woman would perk up. When the child would smile the woman would gain back some of her youth and begin to open up and talk about her past. This baby would bring out the mother in this elderly woman and open her mind to memories of her past. No, it wasn't all like what seemed normal to the visitors present, but this didn't matter. The baby child brought youth back to the woman and joy and happiness of life that she normally was missing the rest of the day. The child brought back life to the elderly woman. The child was sent to bring life to her and in this life the woman gained purpose of being.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, you came as a child, grew and suffered as a man. You came down and brought life to Your people. You restored an old and fallen people to life in you. Then you fill us with the joy of this new life and give all of us, Your children, calling and purpose. As we go this day into Your Kingdom to heal and teach and serve with the gifts You have given, let Your Light shine through that we may bring a smile and the youth of a new life to those we meet and greet this day. ---Amen.

June 24th - Let's Play
Sometimes the fine details in life are the most difficult to handle.
Readings of the Day
Mark 7.1-13-Jesus talks to the Pharisees about their rules on being clean on the outside, yet their neglect of being clean on the inside.
2 Samuel 17-David pays attention to the details and strategies of battle.
Daniel 11.2-20-Daniel details in his vision various battles.
Luke 1.57-80-The birth of John the Baptist.
God's Word of the Day
Be careful not to miss the point while being wrapped up in the details.
Story of the Day
The tournament rules were posted and reviewed prior to the beginning of any of the games. In fact the rules were sent to the team managers prior to any fees being sent in for participation. The softball games began on time and the tournament progressed as scheduled. Then it happened. There was a dispute of how the teams would be arranged in the elimination brackets upon the completion of the round robin portion of the tournament. The umpires came to the tournament manager for instruction. This was a grey area and a decision had to be made. No matter how the decision was made someone would be unhappy with the decision. So there was a decision. Some thought it to be fair while others didn't. But the decision was made with the main purpose of fellowship for the tournament in mind. The games continued and eventually the tournament came to an end. In the end all the teams agreed with the decision. All of the teams appreciated the chief purpose. All of the teams had a good time of fellowship. All because the main purpose of the tournament was kept in focus.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, keep me focused on You. Keep me focused on the cross and the power of all You have done for this world. Keep me focused on Jesus and not get too wrapped up in the details that I miss the main point. You are God. You alone are the Savior. You are the main point of all I am and do. Unwrap me from the details that I can get bound up with, to love and serve in Your Kingdom this day; while I keep my focus on You. ---Amen

June 23rd - Let's Play!
You have a calling and a ministry to fulfill.
Readings of the Day
Mark 6.30-56-Jesus not only retreats in prayer, he makes himself available to the people to feed them. He gets into the boat with the disciples when they are afraid.
2 Samuel 16-David is rejected by some and supported by others as his son takes over as king.
Daniel 10.1-11.1-Daniel is touched and strengthened even in the midst of his fear.
Micah 7.1-7-Look to God in all situations.
God's Word of the Day
In retreat or when coming out, turn to Me in all situations.
Story of the Day
There were only a couple of us together. Hand in hand we had come through the perils of life. Each to their own situation and troubles in life. We had been united in a love that was beyond understanding. At least neither of us could understand how deep this love was or how it even came about. But here we were in a journey together, hand in hand. As we walked a path that we seemed to be guided by as we slowly approached a cross. The closer to this cross we drew, the more people we began to realize were actually in their own approach. Then the moment came that we knelt at the foot of this cross together, hand in hand. Our eyes were raised slowly to a glorious sight. We could see our Savior, the pain the suffering, yet at the same time the triumph. We could see the smile and the deep love shown. Then it happened. A joyous outbreak of joy and communion in the body and blood of Jesus. And we were one.
Prayer of the Day
As I retreat in prayer, I know of Your presence. As I go out into the world, I know of Your presence. As I stumble and fall along the way, I know of Your presence. You have called me, taught me and sent me out day after day. You come to my door and beckon me out to play in Your Kingdom. I go, knowing or Your presence. I go in joy and love to serve You and those You give to me day by day in Your Kingdom. ---Amen

2 Samuel 14-Reconcile with one another.
Daniel 8-See the vision God gives proclaim His glory.
Psalm 69.7-18-God in His steadfast love and at the right time rescues and saves us from our sinful self.
God's Word of the Day
At just the right time I will rescue you from yourself and your enemies. I always care for your needs.
Story of the Day
The two men had a disagreement. Then the fight broke out. Angry words were said. Tempers flared and all hell broke loose. Items thrown about. Glass broken and used as weapons, punches were thrown and blood flowed freely. Most of the crowd backed away to watch. But there was this child present. A fearless child in an adult world. The child leaped into the fight between the two men. The child was injured in his attempt to break the fight. But at the child's presence and at his touch something miraculous occurred. The blood flow stopped! The fight immediately ceased. Everyone stood in awe of what this child had done. Even the wounds of the men healed. This child risked his life for the life of two men who by the thoughts of all present deserved death themselves. The men were trying to kill each other. But the touch of this child changed it all. Instead of death to the men, the men now had new life. All in the touch of a child. All in his touch at just the right moment. A child who risked his life for the life of the two men.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, you know how I can lose my temper. You know how sin can so quickly rule in my being. How I can let my sinful, selfish self go out of control. Reach out and touch me as I reach out in faith to touch You. May our touches meet in the faith You have provided. For You alone are my hope and salvation. You alone are the one to save me from myself. You alone save me from evil and sin. Help me to reconcile in love and forgiveness to your children in my world. Hear my plea. Give me the vision to see what You would have me do and the love and compassion and spirit to carry it all out in Your glorious name. ---Amen

Life is a balancing act.
Readings of the Day
Mark 5.1-20-Jesus heals a man from demons and the man leaves proclaiming to all how much Jesus had done for him.
2 Samuel 13-Sin produces violence and more sin in a destructive cycle.
Daniel 7-Earthly kingdoms come and go but the Kingdom of God is eternal.
Acts 5.17-26-God releases you from prison to go and proclaim to the whole people His message.
God's Word of the Day
I have healed you, I have forgiven you, I have saved you, I have called you, now I send you.
Story of the Day
The mist rose above the open field that early morning. This mist seemed to take on some type of human quality, yet something mysteriously more, even a spiritual or godly quality. The mist began to move about the open field towards the corn field. Then the mist drifted through the corn field as if it was feeding the corn some special message. Then the rows of corn began to sway as if in a strong wind. It seemed that after the mist had moved through the corn field that the corn had now come alive and was celebrating and proclaiming some important message. As the corn on one end of the field where the mist first moved began to wave, the wave was sort of transferred to more corn. So as the mist moved and the corn waved the noise of all the movement became louder and louder. Finally at some point the entire field of corn was waving and moving and making a joyous noise of some sort seemingly in praise to the new found life that the moving mist had freely given.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, I know that I sin and need Your forgiveness. I repent of my sin and ask forgiveness. Release me from this sinful prison I'm in. Move Your Spirit of life in and through me this day. Bring the balance to my life that only You can provide. Take away the demons of sin and make me right in Your sight. Mold me into what You would have me be. Send me out into Your Kingdom. Oh, how I will run and tell all of what You have done for me. Oh, the wonderful noise I will make to Your glory! Oh, how I love You! ---Amen

Unite in love and understanding with one another.
Readings of the Day
Mark 4.21-41-The Kingdom grows and is not hidden. Jesus walks beside you in the Kingdom calming the storms.
2 Samuel 11-12-The evils of the sin of adultery are widespread. Repent and seek forgiveness from God.
Daniel 6-Keep your loyalty to God, even through peer pressure and persecution. God saves you and nothing or no one else.
Hebrews 2.5-9-God made Jesus like us and he tasted death for all of us.
Theme of the Day
I have come down to be like you. To take on your sin and save you. I tasted death for you and have graciously forgiven and saved you from sin. Now rise up and serve Me in My Kingdom.
Story of the Day
As I pulled into the driveway that day, I knew that it had been a rough day. I knew that I had failed in many ways. I knew that I had left God at the doorstep of my house that morning after prayer and devotions. I knew that I had failed. I had failed God and I had failed my wife and family. Now what? Now what was next. I felt as if I were in a continual spiral downward. A spiral of death. And I was. I needed to unite once again with God, with my wife, with my family and with those God had given to me in this walk of life. I needed help.
The gardener had prepared the soil for his garden in the spring of that year. He had planted the seeds and was ready for the beginnings of some fruit. But now the waiting. And some rain fell down from above. The gardener had plenty to do with the preparation of the soil and the planting. He had used the gifts he was given and applied some work. He used seed, and fertilizer, he used tools to prepare and plant. But he had nothing to do with the rain. It fell from above. He had nothing to do with the sun and even the shade. It came from above. It came from above and brought growth. Soon there was fruit. But the gardener neglected his garden. Soon weeds and insects had invaded and spoiled some of the fruit. These came from below and inside the earth.
The gardener knew it was his neglect. So he recognized his failings and went to work on the weeds and the insects. It was work twice as hard. There finally was good fruit, not because of the work, but because the gardener recognized his sin and turned back to the one who comes down from above with water and light and the core of the production of fruit. Here is the One who produces the good fruit.
Prayer of the Day
Lord let me smell the stench of my sins. Let me recognize my need to repent. Forgive me Lord and save me from my sinful self. For You alone produce the fruit. Produce good fruit in me this day as we walk together in Your Kingdom. ---Amen

Luke 6.12-19-Jesus comes near to the people and heals.
God's Word of the Day
I AM nearer to you than you think, calling, healing, teaching and loving you.
Story of the Day
It was a wonderfully simple pen. It was clear so that you could see the amount of ink that was in the pen. It was comfortable to hold and easy to operate. It had a clip that held it into your pocket to carry it around. The pen only became useful when it gave of itself from the very center. The pen was only useful when ink flowed from it's center to the page. When the ink flowed freely, many wonderful messages could be recorded for future or current use. And oh what messages flowed. This pen was used to record the activities of God in the life of one of His children. This pen recorded entries of faith and stories of love in the journal of a child of God.
The ink flowed freely from the center of the pen. Many wonderful messages of God's love were recorded. God is nearer than you think. Let His ink of Love flows freely. Spread the message with His Ink of Love.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, may I sit at Your table and converse with You over some food. Feed me that bread. Feed me that wine. Fill me with Your Love. Fill me to the core of my being. Call me, heal me, and let Your hand place the writing on my heart that I may go out and serve you and the ones you give to me in love in Your awesome Kingdom this day. ---Amen

Back to work on continued healing and love for one another.

2 Samuel 7-8-God is on the move with you and cannot be pinned down. He moves with you even in the battles.

1 Samuel 3.1-9-Listen and hear the call of God.
God's Word of the Day
After I bless you with rest, I will call you and send you out in relationship with me and others to love and heal.
Story of the Day
As I was moving across the sidewalk, I noticed all of the other ants that were working with me this day. It seemed there was a scurry of activity. All of us were on our own but in some other way all of us were united in a common home. I worked hard at finding bread crumbs and bringing them back to home. As I brought the food home, I realized that my family was indeed all of these people that I scurried next too in work. These fellow workers who had the same goal as my own were indeed my mother, brother and sisters. We were united in one great purpose. A purpose beyond our individual understanding and beyond our corporate understanding. We were united in a purpose beyond ourselves. Not one ant on their own could be the center of the universe. Not even the queen ranked this high. We were all humbled to do the hard work of gathering food and doing the work of community for each other and for the common good towards this great purpose set in place for all of us.
I soon began to realize that even as an ant, I had a Creator. One who could not be pinned down to some place or time. I had a Creator who moved with me, helping me in my day to day tasks as a working ant and blessing me with the ability to pull loads that were beyond imagination. Even as a lowly ant, I knew of a Creator that defined my being, defined my physical traits and gave me work to do. A Creator that placed me where I am this day and within this community to do His will. I know of a Creator that calls me, blesses me and sends me out in relationship to Him and to those around me. I know of a creator who loves me...even as an ant.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, You have blessed me with talents and work to do. You have blessed me with brothers and sisters united in Your will and way. Send me out this day to fulfill the purpose You have in mind for me. ---Amen

Be connected in a relationship of love.
Readings of the Day
Mark 3.1-19-Jesus heals when it is unexpected and calls the disciples.
2 Samuel 6-In all fear and reverence in honor of the Lord, David dances his heart out in praise to God.
Daniel 3-Faith tested by the fire, the three men are united in relationship with the saving grace of God's protective angel, even in the midst of the fire.
Joshua 1.1-11-In three days you are to cross over the Jordan. God fulfills His promise, so be bold and go forward confident in His blessing.
God's Word of the Day
I have blessed you and given you a promise. Go forward with me and those I give to you, confident in My Grace and Love to lead and guide you.
Story of the Day
I was afraid to jump off of that diving board into the pool below. I was afraid of the fall. I was afraid that I would panic under water and not find my way to the surface of the water. I was afraid I would freeze on that board and be embarrassed by my cowardice in front of friends and especially in front of those about to dive right behind me.
But on I went, up the ladder and to the board. I saw the person in front of me jump. But when it was my turn there was some hesitation. Then I ran off the board. As I fell into the water, I held my breath as if for the very last time. Then the water and the eerie silence. The confusion, then then the sense to head to the top of the water. When I surfaced, all it seemed I could hear were the noises of children happy at play. It was a wonderful sound to hear. There was new life for me now. Coming out of the water, I thought about my discovery. What I had feared the most, now was fun. The excitement of doing it again set in. So back to that board I went ready to run and jump again. Even though I was reverent in fear, I was happy with the excitement of having been given the confidence it takes to take the plunge.
Jesus heals and calls some disciples. David dances before the ark in joy. Some men in faith go through the fire and find salvation. In three days the Israelites cross over into the Promised Land. In three days...Jesus leaves the tomb. We have been blessed. Take the plunge and join in on the excitement of Love.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, I see how You join me in relationship to You, and to one another. Sometimes it's scary. But I place my hope and faith in Your Love. Here I go to jump. ---Amen

Story of the Day
As we approached the entrance to the fair, I looked around. I could see others, similar to myself, yet in other ways very different. Some of them had long tails, others had their tails cut short. Their were others that were way way larger than me and still others that were teeny tiny. Some of them had funny hats placed on them by their master. Some had even had goggles put on them. Some were white, some were brown, others black and some were all sorts of combinations of white, brown, grey. Some of these guys had straight hair, some curly, some long, some short. Their noses were usually either black or brown, but every now and then I would see one with a pink nose. Seeing all these guys together was really exciting. I love to see so many different friends of mine all together.
I couldn't help myself. I began to yell out to all the other guys to tell them I was here too. I leaped up and down off all fours as high as I could because of all my excitement. Here I was together with the friends that I love even if I didn't know all of them. Here I was together with my friends and their loyal masters who loved each and every one of us. We all accepted and loved each other for how different we were from one another. Even when I did see some guy like myself, he had enough differences in me that we could celebrate our differences. It's so much fun to be unique in my own way. It's great to be different, yet still loved so much by my masters and the others who saw me that day at the fair.
When I think about it, I would do anything for the well being of these friends of mine. If one of them were sick, I would see to it that they would get to that healer guy in that tile floored office. That guy can make anyone feel better. Even though, when I go to him, I'm very scared and afraid, I know in another way the comfort he brings and he will take care of me. I would get my sick friend to him any way I could. Even if I had to break through my yard and take that shock, I would do it for one of these friends of mine. Then we would go to that healer guy and call out to him as loud as I could for what direction to take next with my friend.
I'm sure the healer guy could fix us up and then send us out. Maybe he even sends all of us friends out, different from each other as we are to go and tell through all the world that if we get in trouble, we can come to him. To tell all these friends of mine that if they are in trouble, the healer guy would come and find us all one by one if we but trust that he will. This guy is really neat, he's one of the best of those master type people I've ever seen. Together, me and my friends will tell all the world about him.
But for now, I'm grabbing one of my funny buddies and we'll leap and run to that Milk Bone booth and do a couple of tricks for those master guys. Maybe I'll even do my "Praise the Lord" trick for them. They really like that one!
Prayer of the Day
Lord, pair me up with one or two of Your other unique disciples to be sent out to tell the world of all You have done. I am your anxious child and You are my master. ---Amen

Story of the Day
The machine was acting up the past couple of days. It began a cut and chattered and the part may have been ruined. This was an expensive part and an important part that if not correctly machined, and put into the jet engine, could impact the lives of people. The repair could not be taken lightly. So we are careful. We work over, past the shift and do all that we can to assure that a good part is produced. If not, the part would be scrap, rather than risking the lives of people.
Daily we try to heal machines. Machines grow old with age and begin to wear down. Sometimes replacement parts are obsolete and no longer in production. So we do the best we can. Imagine a repairman that can go beyond all these issues. Imagine someone that can go beyond the physical natures of wear and tear and bring healing not only physically but spiritually.
Imagine a repairman willing to work the day long, taking care of issues of the machines he so greatly loves. Imagine a repairman who would gain the admiration of all the machines in the shop. The machines would clamor for his presence and seek his repair skills. A repairman that makes the machines not only feel physical repair but something much more special deep within. How all the machines in the shop would declare this one repairman to be the only repairman in their lives.
Imagine how the machines would feel so gifted to have this repairman bless their lives. How much would the machines yearn for his touch. Imagine how the machines would respond. How they would want to tell all the machines in shops all over the world that there was this repairman that could do something very special in their lives. A repairman that freed them from the confines of breakdowns and allowed them to serve the world with the wonderful parts they could produce. Parts that somehow contained something new and exciting, something beyond just adherence to tolerances, but something with a life giving value contained within. Imagine what these machines would do for you and for me.
Imagine...
Prayer of the Day
Lord, I come to You in need of repair. Fix me, bless me, call me, send me. I lovingly respond in a joy beyond understanding to all You have done in my life. Thanks! Now, I go, blessed, fixed, and gifted to proclaim Your glory to all the world. ---Amen

Daniel 1-Follow God's plan and live.
Acts 7.35-43-Listen to His Word and follow.
God's Word of the Day

Story of the Day
The forest was alive with activity. But this activity was of a different kind. The animals were nervous and scurrying about. They had a sense about them that was about to avoid disaster. Then the lightening struck. And the fire began. Since the animals were active they knew it was time to move. So they did. The forest was about to renew itself. In the burning and death of the trees, new life would spring from the ashes in the soil. New life and the animals would return and build new homes. The animals were wise enough to hear the call that danger was at hand. The animals listened to the heartbeat of nature and responded. Then new life and the return. All in the call and the listening.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, I hear and read the stories of so many people You have chosen, gifted and filled with Your blessings. You use people to fulfill that new life in the death of sin. May I hear Your call and follow Your lead this day that new life may spring out of the ashes of death. Bring life out of my death to my sinful self and live in me this day. ---Amen

2 Samuel 1-The death of a friend brings on deep grief.
Psalm 72-The King will save you.
Hebrews 3.1-6-Be faithful to God.
God's Word of the Day
You may come through the wilderness, but it is My glory that brings you to the Light.
Story of the Day
After a brief break, some lunch meat sandwiches and a few cookies and drink, we were ready to go back to work. Our job had now changed. We were no longer the primary rescue effort but were now support to those EMT skilled in rescue work. Back helping in anyway we could by getting supplies, running errands or bringing comfort to the injured, we came upon a man who had covered his child with his body upon the collapse of a structure of some sort. The child was only slightly injured but was upset and crying. I took the child into my arms and tried to bring comfort as the Techs worked on her Father. The father was wounded severely and most likely would not survive. He had given his very body, and now his life for the life of his child. I knew in the sadness of this situation that this man would somehow live on in the life of this three year old child. What a story of courage and love. What a Father that would give life for life. Just as this thought was taking place a great light from the search helicopter lit myself and the child from above. On the side of the helicopter all I could see was a cross and the Word Christ. The helicopter was to take the child to the emergency room of Christ Hospital and bring forth new life. A great Light and new Life to be lived in and through this child.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, even in the midst of death and tragedy, shine Your Light brightly so that all the world may see Your saving action of grace and love and know the depth of such. ---Amen

Romans 15.14-33-You will go through trials, but your ministry will continue.
1 Samuel 29-31-God places me where I need to be when I need to be there.
Psalm 71-My hope is in God's saving grace. Praise Him more and more.

God's Word of the Day
No matter if I call you to action or send you for rest; place all your hope and trust in My sure saving grace.
Story of the Day
The earthquake was devastating with many casualties. But those who tirelessly responded to the call to action after leaving the baseball game were finally rewarded. Twelve hours after the damaging quake had occurred emergency help began to arrive. These people really knew how to respond. These rescue workers came from all over with the tools and the know-how to do some fantastic rescue work. We finally were given a break. The Red Cross Van had arrived and began to care for the needs of the people who left the ball game and sprang into action helping in anyway they could. That "Red" Cross sure looked like a respite of salvation that day, with a friendly face a little to eat and something to drink. How could I not think of the blood of Christ, the wine and the bread. Thanks be to God!
Prayer of the Day
Lord, lead me to action when I need to take action and let me rest beside the still waters when I need the rest. I place all trust and hope in Your sure salvation. ---Amen

God's Word of the Day
See My salvation that I freely have given to you. Now go into the wilderness of life and love Me and others likewise.
Story of the Day
The team was confident in victory that evening. The pitching was phenomenal. The hitting was consistent and the fielding was flawless. But then it happened. An earthquake had struck the area and damaged the freeway surrounding San Francisco. People were dead in the tragedy. Suddenly the fans, the players, the officials and everyone involved with the game of baseball had much more on their minds than a game. All the people in the stadium were safe but those surrounding the stadium were in need of help. An announcement came over the speakers that the game was suspended and a plea to exit calmly but quickly was made. As the crowd emptied, some were more concerned for their own safety. But there were many who saw the need surrounding the stadium and sprang into action helping in anyway they could with the resources available. Notice how we enter into the wilderness. Notice how we respond in love. Or do we respond?
Prayer of the Day
Lord, teach me, lead me, show me how to respond to those in need in the wilderness. May I reflect Your love and compassion this day. ---Amen

Psalm 69-God will help in time of need.
Leviticus 15.25-31; 22.1-9-Repent and cleanse yourself before God and one another then bring offerings to God.
God's Word of the Day

Story of the Day
A disease had struck the city. A disease that spread quickly. Many people became infected and sick. Only those who recognized the symptoms of the disease and turned for help quickly were able to continue on. These were the ones who became well and were the same ones who would serve others who had come down with this very same disease.
As the people who were well served those who were ill, it became apparent that the real knowledge resided in knowing what to look out for and how to quickly turn for help from one another in healing. People needed each other to survive. Once they began to heal, there were more and more to help. Those healing together and with one another began to grow. Those who could help began to grow in numbers. Finally the community began to recover from the illness. No, the disease never completely went away, but as people became ill, there were more and more people able to help in the healing.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, help me to recognize the disease of sin within myself. I turn to You and plead forgiveness. I turn to my neighbor and seek forgiveness. Bless me and send me this day into Your Kingdom to work with other sinners to Your glory. ---Amen

June 8th- Let's Play!
Complete the work that has been given.

Matthew 9.9-13, 18-26-Jesus seeks out close relationships with people.
God's Word of the Day
See the work I have given. Now go and touch the life of another with the Love I have placed in you.
Story of the Day
I cut down the tree and noticed after it had fallen to the ground the nest. Next to the nest were a couple of baby robins. One had died from the fall but another was still living. I'm not sure if there were any others. Swirling about were a couple of adult robins in a panic. I felt awful for not seeing the nest in the tree prior to cutting it down, but the damage was done. Now what? I had no clue as to what to do. So I picked up the robin and took her to my daughter. She would surely know what to do, since she always loved animals.
Well, my daughter admitted that she really didn't know what to do. But she immediately began to locate worms for the small robin. She set up a little nest of sorts and brought warmth to the nest. As the days passed by she continued to feed and care for this baby robin. Then one day it was time to turn the robin loose back to the care of nature and she did.
I often wondered what happened to this robin. I pondered how the adult robins felt having their youngsters die and leave abruptly. There were no easy answers. But what I did see was how my daughter, not really knowing what to do, acted in love to care for the robin she could care for. I noticed how my daughter boldly acted out her love for animals. Then I thought of a God that does the same for me when I'm in need. I thought of a God that springs to action in love even when some circumstances take place that He didn't cause. I pause and give thanks for an active loving daughter and an active loving God. I ponder how I should act the same.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, send me out into Your Kingdom this day to eat with the tax collectors and react in love to those that are ill and reaching out. To act in love to those that are mourning. To celebrate life with those who are celebrating. To be in loving relationship with all you give to me this day. ---Amen

Psalm 67-God blesses and makes His face shine on me.
Psalm 50.7-15-Everything is God's. Call on Him when in need.
God's Word of the Day
Everything is mine. Use what I give to you. Understand what I have given to you.
Story of the Day
The Father and the Son were at football practice together. The Father volunteered to help coach the team that his Son was playing with. The Father would give advice to all the children of the team. He would praise what the players did well and teach where he could so that each player could improve. Sometimes there was discipline needed for players that got out of line. He sought to teach each player how to put the skills they possessed individually together to form a play that would bring success. The Father taught and instructed and demonstrated to the best of his ability.
On the rides home from practice, the Son asked the Father for some advice on his stance before blocking. The Son recognized the knowledge and love of the Father and so deeply wanted a relationship with his Father that would be personal. The Father proudly gave his Son all the advice and love that he could. The Father also wanted this personal relationship with his Son. As the season wore on this personal advice became evident in the play of the Son. The Son became one of the best lineman in the league. The Son excelled because of the trust he had in the knowledge of the Father. The Son excelled because of the relationship of love he and his Father had established.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, teach me when to come to You for understanding and knowledge. Give me the will to apply in love all You have taught and shown to me. ---Amen

Sometimes you just need to be with one another.
Readings of the Day
Romans 11.25-36-The depth and riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God is beyond anything I can fathom.
1 Samuel 21-22-Gather with the outcast and stand against the evils of the day.
Psalm 66-God is with you in the fire and goes through the fire with you. He goes through the water with you and brings you to a spacious place.
Acts 28.1-10-Though snakes may bite, stay with the people and do the work of the Lord.
God's Word of the Day
Be with My people and do the work I have given you to do.
Story of the Day
Once while walking along the path of life, I discovered how alone I had become. As I continued to walk along, I began to meet people. These people were the people that others had forgotten. They were people that were cast out by the common crowd. I knew, deep inside that I was to walk the path of life along side of these people. Together with these people we grew in faith, we grew in love. Together we began to care for each other. At first, I thought I was caring for them. And I was caring and loving them all along this path of life. But as we progressed, I began to realize that I was also being cared for me in and through these forgotten people. Then the path came to an end.
As we all looked up we saw a stream running parallel to a large row of tall trees. Beyond the trees we could see a Great Light streaming through the trees. Knowing that this Great Light was something much beyond our knowledge and understanding we were drawn to walk towards this Light. But our approach to this Great Light gave us the understanding that even though we are the outcast people, the Light will lead us through the water, the Light will lead us through the wilderness, and the Light would reveal to us a spacious place to unite at once the outcast people and the Great Light in a Love much greater than anyone could ever imagine.
So we continue our walk together, through the fires and trials of the path of life, through the waters and streams and through the wilderness. We continue our walk in faith and hope and knowledge of this vision of a spacious place in unity with the Great Light. But along the way, we see the Great Light by our sides giving direction and comfort and love...all along this path of life.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, unite me with the outcast in Your Love and lead us to Your Light. ---Amen

Expect your faith to be questioned and verified.

1 Samuel 20-Expect to be cut off from evil and cast out. God will save you alone.
Psalm 65-Be happy to be chosen and to have God living with you.
2 Peter 2.17-22-Be careful that sin does not entangle you again and again.
God's Word of the Day
Even though I have saved you and called you, beware of the sin that will entangle you in a net of destruction. Turn your ear to Me and listen. Follow Me.
Story of the Day
The plant had grown over the past few years. It started small and now had extended all along the fence line. Parts of it were weaving in and out of the fence that it grew up upon. Each spring new sprouts would break forth from the branches and growth was evident. But it was confined by the fence that this plant had weaved in and out of. Then along came the home owner. He cut the plant at the root. He tried to eliminate the growth in the fence but not the plant all together. What this did was free the plant from the confines of the fence. So now, though cut short and to the ground once again, the plant had opportunity to grow without being caught in the fence. So the plant grew, unbounded by the fence.
The plant now free from the fence grew out each year. It provided shelter for the birds. It provided fruit for the owner. The plant remained clear of the fence for now. But the fence remained. The fence stayed in place, always a potential snare for the plant. At times a branch or two would wander to the fence and become entangled. The fence would strangle the branch and the branch would die. Sometimes the owner would revisit the plant and cut the branch free from the fence. But the main trunk remained free and alive from the fence. So as each new branch came to life a choice was introduced. The branch could cling to the safety of the fence and become entangled, or the branch could grow free and wild, providing shelter and fruit and be fed from the main trunk of life. So branch, what's the choice for you today, will you cling to the safety of the fence, or grow free and wild from the main trunk?
Prayer of the Day
Lord, I know that my faith will be questioned. Help me make the right choices in life. Feed me from Your Branch of Life. Keep me from sin and temptation. Cut me away from sin in my life and let me live free in You. Alive to bear the fruit You would have me bear. ---Amen

Weather the storms in life.
Readings of the Day
Romans 9.30-10.21-Confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
1 Samuel 19-Run and hide from the evil that seeks to overtake.
Psalm 64-God is your shelter in the storm.
Matthew 7.13-20-Through the storms of life you will learn to trust in God. Then you will bear fruit.
God's Word of the Day
Though the storms come and go...Though you may have damage...Know of my saving presence...believe in Me and profess My glory...you will be fruitful.
Story of the Day
This is a story of two families in a storm. Each family was neighbor to the other. During a tornado warning, both families faithfully retreated to the basement for cover. Both families huddled as families do. Both families, within themselves drew closer together while waiting out the storm. Both families gained camaraderie while waiting out the storm. When the storm had passed, each family came forth from their basement shelter. One family to the safety of their home. The other family came forth to a house destroyed.
As the one family emerged from the safety of their home, they looked in horror to their neighbor family's house and discovered the damage. Immediately in compassionate love they gave shelter to their neighbor. In the subsequent days both families united together in a common cause of rebuilding after the storm.
God was present for both families. Both families made it through the storm. One family was safe. The other family incurred damage. God was present for both families. God worked through both families. God is our shelter in the storm. Even when tragedy or disease or even sin and evil strikes, we must take shelter in the strength of God. We must seek God. God surely seeks us. God is with us, not necessarily to prevent the storm, but to be with us in and through the storm. Then through the faith God builds in each of us, we bear fruit. We bear fruit in knowing that God is our sure foundation, God is our shelter, God will use the good and the bad to work His grace in and through and with us, in the storm and through the storm and after the storm.
So take heart, in the storm, God is with you. Take heart, after the storm, God is with you and acting in and through you. You will bear fruit. Flea the evil of the storm and cling to God. Learn the trust He teaches and bear the fruit of love and compassion He gives you to give to all families.
Through the storm two families united with one another, united within each other and God united with them, in, during, and after the storm.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, be with me in the storms of life. I cling to you. Help me weather the storm and lead me to trust in Your Truth. ---Amen

June 3rd-Let's Play!
Work as though working for God, not man.
Readings of the Day
Romans 9.1-29-God is the creator and can do with the created as He chooses.
1 Samuel 17.55-18.30-Any success of yours can be attributed to the Lord being with you.
Psalm 63-Seek God. He is your one and only God.
Joshua 24.1-2, 11-28-Choose to serve the one and only God. See how He has blessed you.
God's Word of the Day
I have created you and all that exists. I make what I choose to make. Serve and work for Me.
Story of the Day
Once upon a time the Wind, the Rain, the Thunder, and the Earth came together to discuss who was the greatest. The Wind thought that she was because she was always mysterious. No one could ever predict and define her movements. The Rain declared that He was the greatest because without His nourishment all things would perish. The Thunder pronounced His awesome power because of the fear that creation has whenever he spoke. The Earth said surely she was the greatest because all things existed for her well being.
Then a voice from heaven declared that the Wind, the Rain, the Thunder and the Earth were all created by Him. The voice of the Lord explained that everything He created is good. That all He created He chooses to work in harmony with each other to glorify Him. The Lord declared His love for the Wind, the Rain, the Thunder and the Earth and blesses each of them abundantly. To the Wind, the Lord proclaimed, that her mystery was His secret power, and that He provided for her direction. To the Rain, the Lord said, that the water would be graciously combined with Word and Promise to bring mankind to be called "Children of God." To the Thunder, God said, that He would use His voice to show creation how to honor and fear the Lord. And to the Earth, God declared, that all He created in her was good and honorable and would bring blessing to all.
So the Wind, the Rain, the Thunder and the Earth all declared that from this time forward they would serve the Lord gladly and all their work would be a harmony of service to the greatest of all, the one and only God.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, as I wander into Your Kingdom this day, help me to realize the joy of working as though I am working for You. May my labor be a labor of joy to Your glory. ---Amen

Care and love each other as God has cared for you.
Readings of the Day
Romans 8-Nothing whatsoever can separate you from the love of Christ.
1 Samuel 17.1-54-God gives enough gifts to fight the giant in the battle. Trust in His gifts, they exceed the power of any armor man could supply.
Psalm 62-In the face of persecution, trust in God, He is your rock and salvation.
Joshua 8.30-35-Read the Word of God before the Assembly and learn.
God's Word of the Day
I have blessed you with gifts to use in love for one another. Trust in Me and use those gifts.
Story of the Day
There once was an ant named Sarah who was separated by a great chasm from her dear friend the dog, Abraham. Sarah could tell that Abraham was in trouble one day. Abraham had fallen ill and did not feel good all day long. As much as Sarah tried to reach out to Abraham, she couldn't seem to help him. Abraham refused to ask for help, even though Sarah wanted to help. Sarah, knowing she was just an ant and that there was this great chasm between her and her friend, and she felt very inadequate and helpless. Abraham's condition grew worse as the day went by. Both Sarah the ant and Abraham the dog were becoming more and more depressed.
Then a little wind blew into the valley and up the great chasm on both side. Sarah the ant felt the whisper of the wind say, "Use the gifts I have given you. You can reach Abraham. Stop trusting in your self-made gifts and trust in the gifts I have given." At that very same moment this same little wind blew a message to Abraham the dog saying, "I have given you loving friends to be with you in times of need, see the gifts I have given, reach out in thankfulness to these friends when you are in need."
Simultaneously Abraham the dog and Sarah the ant were connected in spirit across the great chasm that existed. Abraham barked a plea of help. Sarah noticed the seasonal wings of the flying ant appear on her back and flew to Abraham. Even though Sarah was unable to cure Abraham of his illness, the wind of truth had led the two friends together to love each other and be with one another in love and hope and friendship.
At once Sarah and Abraham realized that trusting in the wisdom of the Wind of Truth was the way to real love and friendship in their lives together. Now nothing would be able to separate Sarah the ant or Abraham the dog from loving the Wind of Truth, not death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation. Knowing this, Sarah and Abraham felt the power to defeat all the giants that life may present to them, trusting in the sure foundation of the gifts and blessings from the Wind of Truth.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, I place all my hope and faith and love in the sure foundation you give in Jesus Christ. Through You, all giants and chasms have been defeated and crossed. Be with me this day in Your Kingdom and lead me all along the way. ---Amen

June 1st-My Daily Walk with Jesus in His Kingdom
---
If you follow the readings day by day. In one year you will have read through the entire Bible.
---
The first three readings of each devotional accomplish this.
The third scripture passage listed, follows the theme of the church year in some way. So not only do you read through the Bible in one year---you also do a little more!
---
Next you will see a statement that I seem to hear God speaking to me. It's a statement that seems to be from God.
---
Finally, I always close with a prayer.
---
Over the years I have used various formats. The first was just my reflections on the scripture passages. Then I used phrases that I seemed to hear God speaking through people, I have used pictures and visions from God. Last year I spent the year reflecting on hymns of the church and writing psalms.
This year I have decided to reflect on my daily walk in God's Kingdom. I will state what appeared to me to be "theme of the day" in my walk in His Kingdom. After each passage reading, I will reflect on the theme of that passage that is speaking to me. Then I will write a short story on those themes using imagination and visions of what I feel God wishes for me to take on His Word and my daily walk in His Kingdom. Don't be surprised if some days I express the theme in pictures and other days in words or whatever method I choose to express the theme. We'll see how it goes and may change along the way as I hear God calling me to change.
So why this Kingdom walk stuff? Why choose this? I must tell you a story of my early life that has impacted my walk with God throughout my life.
When I was 5 or 6 years old, I'm not sure the age, but I know I was still in Sidney Ohio when this occurred, I had a dream. I had a dream that Jesus came to the front door. I answered the door. There stood Jesus with Moses and another person that I haven't been able to identify clearly. Jesus at the door, reminded me of that picture of Jesus knocking at the door that is so common. Now, to my surprise, instead of Jesus wanting me to invite him in, Jesus asked if Billy could come out and play. As I grew older and kept pondering this strange dream, I came to realize that Jesus wants me to walk with Him in His Kingdom day after day. I came to realize that this was my calling from God to go out into His Kingdom each day and play with Jesus. I came to realize the richness of play and learning and stumbling and falling and being picked up and playing as a team with Jesus and His friends in His Kingdom day after day. I came to realize that Jesus wants Billy just as Billy is and will use me each and every day in His Kingdom. I came to realize the presence of Jesus at my door each and every morning through good times and bad, when I feel good and when I'm sick, when I'm mean and when I'm friendly, I can look by my side and there is Jesus, my Friend with me all along the way. I now know of a daily calling. Not a vocational calling. Not a calling that is necessarily specific in nature, but a daily calling to live out life with God in the lead. A calling to situations that present themselves daily with God at my side. A calling that works through and sometimes in my victories, my failings, my sinfulness, my repentance, my health, my wealth, my illness and whatever seems to be present each day. A daily calling to play in the Kingdom of God as God chooses fit to use me. It has been a joy to live out this calling with Jesus and His friends. It has been an honor to call Jesus my Friend and for Jesus to invite me out to play, and for Jesus to come knocking at my door daily throughout my life.
So this year, I have chosen to play along with Jesus. Play in stories from His Word. Play each day in the themes of life and love that God chooses to reveal to me each day in His Kingdom.

So we'll see how it goes. You'll have to look over the typos and grammar errors. My purpose is not to be a professional writer in any way. My purpose is only to reflect on what God is calling me to reflect on throughout life and to listen to Him and learn from Him and be fed in all fullness from Him. All in all, I offer my time and worship and prayer to God in my devotional. You are welcome to come along for the ride. I know you will hear the voice of God somewhere along the way, as I always have.

"Can Billy come out to play?"
Theme of the Day-The collection of material goods will not bring happiness. It is in the relationships developed where the happiness resides.
Readings of the Day-
Romans 7-You know of your sin. Christ died so that you would belong to him. Now die to yourself and bear fruit for God.
1 Samuel 16-God looks on the heart of the person, not on the riches or appearance. God calls and anoints you heart to heart in a lifelong relationship of love.
Psalm 61-God is my strength and refuge. God leads me up to that rock of strength and shows me the way.
Matthew 7.21-29-Build relationship on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior. Hear His word and act on it.
God's Word of the Day
I AM the solid rock and foundation on which to build all your relationships in life. I gave my life for you and love you. Now in this relationship of ours go out into My Kingdom and give your life, give your love in relationship to those I give to you this day.
Story of the Day
I heard a knock at the door and got up from a wonderful night of sleep to answer the door. As I opened the door, I was greeted by a friendly face that I thought I knew but wasn't real sure. This stranger said, "Can Billy come out to play?" I was at first apprehensive, but something inside me told me that this would be one friendship that would surpass all friendships. So I happily replied, "Sure, let's go!" As I stepped outside, dressed in play clothes I had hurriedly put on, I noticed my new friend was with two other friends, one I knew from school and the other person, I had never seen before.
So, out we go together, all four of us to the creek nearby the house. Even though I didn't know any names, I felt the one boy was the leader, the one to follow. The other two were somewhat like me. I suspect the leader has been to their house at some time or another too. One of the other kids seemed to be well know and the second kid seemed to be just like me, not knowing what was going on. So we all followed the leader to the creek. At the creek the leader told us how important it was to have friendships in life. He told us why it was more important to live out our lives caring, and playing and making friends that it was to try and gather toys and bikes and games to play.
I always thought that the more toys you had the more friends you would make to play with those toys. But this "leader" friend explained that it was in the friendship and the playing together that real friends would be made. He said that it was real friends that would be there when we played together and someone got hurt and picked the other one up. He told me that really all we would do with the toys was fight over who gets to play with what. He told me that it was much more important to go outside, to the creeks and the playgrounds and the woods and use our imaginations and play with one another than it was to stay in the house and play with our toys.
So all that day we walked the creek, ran through the woods, played on the swing sets. If someone tripped along the way we would all help each other out. We picked each other up and stayed together as friends, following the leader all the way.
The three of us began to realize that there was something special about this "leader" friend. He didn't have to lead us, but he did because he wanted to. So we followed and had a good time. We gave up the day with our toys to follow this "leader" friend. And we found out that giving up time inside with our toys wasn't nearly as fun as going outside with this "leader" friend and learning to be friends with him and each other.
At the end of the day, I was tired, but so excited to have new friendships that I couldn't wait for another day of running and playing outside with my new friends.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, teach me this day to follow Your lead, to build friendships and relationships. Teach me to leave those toys behind and give them away in love. Teach me to cherish my time with those you give to me and to show them Your face of Love. ---Amen
