July 17th Daily Word and Visions from God

1 Corinthians 5-You can't just go along with this, treating it as acceptable behavior.
1 Kings 18-Oh yes a cloud! But very small, no bigger than someone's hand, rising out of the sea.
Amos 2.1-3.2-Out of all families on earth, I picked you.
Tobit 12.11-22-So now get up from the ground and acknowledge God.
Numbers 16.1-19-You know the God of Israel has chosen you...
The road was closed to church Sunday. The church at a sharp turn in the road. You have to go a different route to get to church. Not along this main path. No, it doesn't seem to be acceptable but if you are persistent your path to church will still exist. Go around for now, that road will reopen some other time. Go around to that steeple rising out of the middle of the trees. Go around and see and hear the Word of God. Go around and feel God's presence in the journey. Sometimes the journey with and to God is not simple. Sometimes God leads us down a different path. A less traveled path. But go! Go as God leads us and draws us to him. To his glory. To that steeple that points to the awesome glory of God. Get off the ground and acknowledge God even if it is a little more difficult. Because God has chosen you. God wants you to touch him and be healed. God is always with you. So just go!
Lord, I see you coming near. Near enough for me to reach out and touch. I will touch and I will go as you have commanded. Even if the road is a little difficult.-- Amen
