Luke 7.1-17-When Jesus saw her, his heart broke, He said to her, "Don’t cry."…They were quietly worshipful—and then noisily grateful
Genesis 8-10-From them nations developed all across the Earth after the flood.
Psalm 4-For you, GOD, have put my life back together.
Psalm 29-Pray that our LORD will make us strong and give us peace.
John 1.6-9-The true light that shines on everyone was coming into the world.
Psalm 19-Worshiping the Lord is sacred; he will always be worshiped.
"In history today Martin Luther was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church."- A little tidbit fact presented in the Morning Meeting at work. Kicked out- gone- history- well not really- because history was made with this act and things have changed because of it- Like the life of the widow woman whose son had died- Jesus raised that son back to life – the life of the boy-the life of the mother- and history changed because of an act of God- Jesus has compassion for us- and then we worship- and then we realize how blessed we are and then we are noisily grateful—After the flood- quiet in the boat – anticipation- what is next from God- then healing and a new fresh world- nations develop and life continues- God does put my life back together just like that- through pain- through illness- through struggles- he leads me in life- leads me with his true light- not my failed light- but the light of Christ leads me- gives me peace and strength when I need it- just at the right time- when I can’t figure it out- I know that Jesus is there to guide me. How will I respond to this great grace of love and life? I worship my sacred Lord – he will always be worshiped. "In history, today, Martin Luther was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church."- But God worked even this struggle for blessing – we will worship God!
Prayer-Lord, today I worship you and praise you and love you. -- Amen
