Oh, that birth forever blessed, when the virgin full of grace, by the Holy Ghost conceiving, bore the Savior of our race, and the babe, the world's redeemer, first revealed his sacred face, evermore and evermore. Amen. ("Of the Father's Love Begotten" - Text:Marcus Aurelius Clemens Prudentius, 348-413; tr. composite)

God's Word of the Day
You don't deserve salvation. Only through Me can you be saved. Have faith and you will bear good fruit. Trust in Me and I will be your God. I sent salvation into your world as a gift. Have faith and accept the gift.

Psalm of the Day
In forty days you destroyed evil.
Forty days of temptation.
Forty days of water.
Sealed up in an ark.
Separated and apart.
Sealed up in a tomb for a few days.
You recreate life out of death.
You make it all right.
Yet we continue to sin.
We continue to fall away.
Forgive us Lord!
Forgive our sin and save us!
You alone are God.
In You alone do we have trust, hope, and faith.
You are our salvation.
Only You can save us from the flood.
Only You can save us from ourselves, sin, death and the devil.
We need You, Lord and Savior!
We need You in order that we may bear good fruit.
We place our faith in You and bear Your fruit.
Our salvation is up to You.
We can't save ourselves, but need You.
You have shown that You will save us.
Forty days...
